 LaDawn Ryans, a Durham, NC native, is a proud alumna of Hillside High School and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice before obtaining a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Philosophy in Human and Social Services from Walden University.

LaDawn has over eight years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, LaDawn blends her educational background, professional expertise, and lived experiences to provide compassionate, client-centered care. While LaDawn works with a diverse client base, she holds a strong passion for counseling high school and college students. She specializes in anxiety, depression, relationship and family issues, academic stress, healthy relationships, perinatal mental health, and life transitions, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. She is dedicated to fostering a safe, judgment-free space where individuals feel heard, understood, and supported by a relatable counselor—serving as a guiding light for those seeking healing, renewal, new beginnings, and purpose.
